We’re growing our impact – and we’re looking for passionate, committed individuals to help guide the way. Blue Star Recyclers is now accepting applications for new members to join our Board of Directors. If you believe in our mission of creating jobs for people with autism and other barriers to employment, we’d love to hear from you.

Board Members Play a Critical Role

Our Board of Directors ensures that Blue Star remains true to its founding vision, operates with integrity, and grows strategically and sustainably. As a board member, you’ll help steward our mission while bringing your unique expertise, perspective, and leadership to the table.

Expectations Include:

  • A three-year term (renewable).
  • Attending 6 board meetings annually (in-person at Denver facility, with virtual option as needed).
  • Visiting a Blue Star Recyclers location at least once per year.
  • Making an annual, personally meaningful, tax-deductible donation.
  • Supporting strategic planning, financial oversight, and governance.
  • Serving as an ambassador and advocate for Blue Star Recyclers.

Whether you’re experienced in nonprofit governance, business strategy, finance, legal, environmental sustainability, or disability advocacy – or simply feel called to help drive positive impact – we encourage you to apply.
