Eco-cycle celebrates 50 years

Congratulations to Eco-Cycle on 50 Years of Environmental Leadership

Blue Star Recyclers was proud to sponsor Eco-Cycle’s 50th Anniversary Gala this summer, celebrating five decades of leadership in recycling, sustainability, and environmental education.

Eco-Cycle has long been a trusted partner in helping our community responsibly recycle electronics. Through our partnership, Eco-Cycle accepts hard to recycle electronics from the public, and Blue Star Recyclers processes those devices safely and responsibly — keeping harmful materials out of landfills while supporting our mission to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities.

In celebration of Eco-Cycle’s anniversary, The Museum of Boulder is hosting the exhibit Eco-Cycle, 50 Years of Impact through September 20, 2026. This exhibit chronicles the grassroots movement that helped transform how communities think about waste, resources, and environmental responsibility.

We are grateful for Eco-Cycle’s continued commitment to building a more sustainable Colorado and honored to work alongside them in creating a cleaner, more inclusive future.
